Regular events organized by the Polish American Congress

 

Polish Christmas Mass (Pasterka)
Held on the first or second Saturday of January, our Pasterka is a special mass in English and Polish followed by a concert of Polish Christmas Carols and a reception.

New Year’s Eve Ball (Sylwester) 

Annual lecture and meeting
Every year we invite a distinguished speaker either from the members of our community or from outside. The lecture is followed by a board election. Usually in early May.

Picnic
A family-friendly get together in a park near Ann Arbor with Polish sausage and various fun activities. Usually in late August.

Bonfire (ognisko)
Another occasion to enjoy some real Polish sausage, meet your Polish friends and spend some time outside. A cabin is usually rented for overnight stay. Usually in October.

Polish Film Festival (website)
The best chance you have in Ann Arbor to see Polish films, meet an invited speaker and even try some Polish pastries. Usually organized in November.

Copernicus Lecture (website)
Annual lectures featuring high profile speakers from Poland or scholars studying Poland. Plus several other interesting events related to Poland throughout the year.
